Editing Delivery Addresses

When working on an invoice in HirePOS, you can edit the delivery address directly from the Invoice screen. The location of the edit button varies based on whether you are using the Desktop or Tablet layout mode. Refer to the images in this guide for visual assistance.

Populating Delivery Addresses

In the Delivery/Pickup Details popup, there are several ways to populate the address:

  • Manually enter the address or use the HirePOS Address Search feature.

  • Click "Use Customer Billing Address" to auto-populate the delivery address.

  • Select from pre-set Delivery/Pickup Locations or Cities via dropdown menus.

HirePOS Address Search

The HirePOS Address Search module simplifies the process of entering addresses by providing intelligent suggestions based on partial address information. This feature eliminates manual entry errors and saves time. It has replaced the Google Places API Integration.

Activating and Using Address Search

To activate Address Search, navigate to Setup > Preferences > Modules and enable the feature. Address Search can be used in various address fields across the HirePOS app, such as when adding a new customer.

Managing Locations

Creating and utilizing locations in HirePOS streamlines the delivery process. Locations can be global or customer-specific, allowing for efficient selection of delivery addresses during order processing.

City/Postcode List Setup

Cities and postcodes play a vital role in delivery scheduling and pricing. Setting up and assigning zones to city/postcode entries enhances the accuracy of delivery information.

Utilizing City/Postcode Information

Preset cities and postcodes can be selected from dropdown lists in various screens within HirePOS, including customer overviews, invoice screens, and event or project creation interfaces.

Pickup Address Management

In HirePOS, the pickup address is typically assumed to be the same as the delivery address unless specified otherwise. Separate entry fields are available for pickup addresses in the Booking/Invoice screen.
