Use Check Off when completing Deliveries and Pickups
In Hirepos, you have the option to configure the Delivery/Pickup Schedule to mark off each item individually rather than the entire job at once. This feature allows for more detailed tracking and adjustments to be made. Follow the steps below to set up and use this functionality effectively.
Setting Up Delivery/Pickup Schedule Configuration
To configure the Delivery/Pickup Schedule in Hirepos, follow these steps:
From the main menu strip at the top, navigate to Setup > Preferences > Restrictions.
Check the box labeled Check Off Delivery/Pickup items.
Scroll down and click Save Changes.
Using the Check Off Items Screen
Once you have configured the Delivery/Pickup Schedule, follow these steps to utilize the Check Off Items screen:
In Sales/Hire > Delivery/Pickup Schedule, the usual Complete button will now appear as Check Off.
Clicking on Check Off will take you to the Check Off Items screen where you can make adjustments and add extra items.
Use the Increase/Decrease buttons to adjust the number of items delivered and provide a reason for the adjustment in the Reason field.
To add additional items to the job, click on Add Extra Items button, search for the item, adjust the quantity if needed, and click Add Extra Items to include them in the job.
Ensure all items in the list are checked using the Check button on the far right before completing the job by clicking Save Changes.
Adjustment Reminders
Adjustments made in the Delivery/Pickup Schedule will not directly reflect on the invoice. Follow these steps to manage adjustments:
An Adjustments reminder will appear in the Reminders List on the main screen.
Click on the reminder to view the adjustments.
Unactioned adjustments will be listed in the Pending tab.
You can edit the invoice directly by clicking on the adjustment or preview the invoice by clicking the eye icon.
Click Accepted to apply the changes to the invoice or Declined if you reject the changes.
Icons will indicate whether adjustments have been accepted or declined.
