Delivery/Pickup Schedule
The Delivery/Pickup Schedule feature in our system is designed to facilitate the efficient management of delivery and pickup jobs. This comprehensive guide will provide you with the necessary steps to handle various types of jobs within the Delivery/Pickup Schedule, ensuring a streamlined process for your operations.
Accessing the Delivery/Pickup Schedule
To access the Delivery/Pickup Schedule, navigate to Sales/Hire and select Delivery/Pickup Schedule. This screen will display all scheduled delivery and pickup jobs, including:
Bookings & Invoices
Purchase Orders
Onsite Services
General Reminders
Schedule Booking/Invoice
Within the Booking/Invoice screen, click the Delivery/Pickup button to open the Delivery/Pickup Details popup. You have the option to use the customer's billing address to streamline data entry. Choose the appropriate action (delivery, pickup, or both) in the Delivery Schedule section.
Schedule Purchase Order
In the Purchase Order details screen, click the Edit Delivery/Pickup Details button to access the Delivery/Pickup Details popup. If goods need to be picked up from the supplier, select the Pickup Required checkbox. The job date in the Delivery/Pickup Schedule will be determined by the Order Date.
When delivering an order to a customer, ensure that the customer's linked Invoice to the Purchase Order is in place, as delivery details will be derived from the Customer Invoice.
Schedule Onsite Services
To schedule Onsite Services, go to the Booking/Invoice screen, click the Options link above the Invoice items grid, and select Onsite Service Schedule. Enter the scheduled date/times, assign a Driver, and indicate if the job is No Charge. The Date Completed field will be updated upon job completion.
You can also manage driver schedules through the Vehicle/Driver Allocations button in the Delivery/Pickup Schedule screen.
Schedule General Reminders
In the CRM section, navigate to General Reminders and click on the Delivery/Pickup Schedule sub-heading to expand the section. Choose to include the reminder in the Delivery or Pickup Schedule, enter the necessary address details, and set the job date based on the Reminder Date field.
Previewing & Exporting the Delivery/Pickup Schedule
Click Preview to generate a report displaying all delivery and pickup jobs within the selected Date From and Date To range.
The report viewer provides the same functionality as other reports in the system. From here, you can:
Export the report as a CSV or PDF using the respective buttons
Email the report directly using the Email option
This allows you to easily share or retain a record of scheduled jobs as needed.
