Crew/Staff and the Delivery/Pickup Schedule

Edited

In situations where you have multiple drivers or staff going out on site for Delivery, Pickup, or a Service, you can efficiently manage these tasks using the HR module in our system.

Creating Shifts for Delivery and Pickup

To begin, you need to create separate shifts for Delivery and Pickup:

  1. Go to HR > Shifts and create a new Shift. Ensure the Delivery Schedule checkbox is ticked.

  2. Create another shift, this time with the Pickup Schedule checkbox ticked.

Assigning Drivers to Jobs

Once you have set up the shifts, you can assign drivers to specific jobs:

  1. Open an Invoice that requires Delivery or Pickup.

  2. At the top-right of the Invoice screen, navigate to Extras > Related Tasks.

  3. Enter a new job in the grid provided and assign the appropriate Delivery or Pickup shift you created earlier.

By following these steps, crew/staff will be correctly associated with jobs in the Sales/Hire > Delivery/Pickup Schedule screen, allowing for efficient management of tasks and resources.
