Using GPS Coordinates in Delivery/Pickup
The Delivery/Pickup Schedule can integrate with Google Maps, allowing users to open a job’s delivery address directly in Google Maps.
You can also use latitude and longitude coordinates in the job’s address field instead of a standard street address.
Use lat/long in Job Address
To do this:
Retrieve the latitude and longitude coordinates for the location.
You can copy these values directly from Google Maps by right-clicking a location and selecting the lat/long values displayed in the dropdown.
Enter the coordinates into the Location/Address field for the delivery using the following format:
-27.4698, 153.0251
Ensure the City, State, and Postcode fields are left blank.
If these fields are populated, Google Maps may become confused and load the incorrect address — or no address at all.
Depending on your workflow requirements, you can also enter the latitude and longitude coordinates into the customer’s address field and then use the Use Customer Billing Address option in the Delivery/Pickup Details section of the invoice to copy the coordinates across.
