Item Rates/Prices - Update Methods
In the HirePOS system, there are three distinct methods for updating item prices, each tailored to the scale of the changes you need to make. This guide will help you choose the appropriate method based on the number of items you wish to update.
Methods for Changing Item Prices
1. Single Item or Small Changes
For minor adjustments or when updating a single item, you can utilise the Rates/Prices tab. This method is straightforward and efficient for small-scale updates.

2. Several Items (Moderate Changes)
If you need to adjust the prices of several items but do not require a bulk import, the Item/Price Adjustments feature is the ideal choice. This option allows for multiple updates without the complexity of bulk importing.

3. Many Items (Large Bulk Update)
For extensive updates involving a large number of items, the CSV Import method is recommended. This approach allows you to efficiently manage bulk changes to item prices.
