vWork Integration
This document provides a comprehensive guide on how to connect HirePOS with vWork, enabling seamless automation of delivery, pickup, and service jobs for your mobile workforce. By following the steps outlined below, you can efficiently manage job assignments and scheduling through this integration.
Activating vWork Integration
To activate the vWork integration, follow these steps:
Navigate to Setup > Preferences > API / Integrations.
Search for vWork and click on the vWork tile.
Paste the API Key provided to you by vWork into the designated field.
Exporting Jobs to vWork
To export jobs to vWork, proceed with the following steps:
Go to Sales/Hire > Delivery/Pickup Schedule.
Ensure that you have entered a vWork API Key in the setup. If you do not have API Keys set up for similar providers, you will see a Transfer to vWork button at the bottom of the list.
Click the Transfer to vWork button to export the jobs.
As jobs are being exported, a Job ID reference will be displayed below each job, indicating whether the export was successful. If there is an error, relevant details will be provided.
If you need to re-export jobs, the latest information will update the existing job in vWork.
Driver Allocation
When utilising vWork, it is important to note that driver allocation is assumed to be performed within vWork rather than HirePOS.
