Bank Feeds
Bank Feeds are included in HirePOS to streamline expense and payment tracking.
Set up Bank Feeds
To set up bank feeds, follow these steps:
Go to Setup > Bank Accounts.
Click an existing bank account to edit.
Important: The "BSB Number" and "Account Number" fields are required for bankfeeds, and must be entered exactly as displayed by the bank, including any spaces and hyphens.
Go to Options at the top-right, then click Setup Bankfeeds.
Search for your bank.
Enter your credentials to log into your bank account.
Note the format of the BSB Number and Account Number as presented by your bank, including spaces and hyphens, and ensure the BSB Number and Account Number in your bank setup is identical. Any variation will prevent bank statement data from being retrieved. Return to Setup > Bank Accounts if necessary and correct the BSB and Account details.
Select the accounts to connect to bank feeds and proceed through the onboarding process.
After successful onboarding, you may be redirected back to the app login screen. Log back in and navigate to Banking > Bank Feeds (or Payments > Bank Feeds) and retrieve statement data as needed.

Bank Feeds Troubleshooting
Bankfeeds is a "third-party" service provided by Illion. For the service to function correctly, it relies on both Illion BankFeeds and your bank or financial institution. While it is uncommon, users may occasionally experience connection issues with their bank feeds if either of these parties are experiencing issues.
Common causes for these issues include:
Issues on your bank’s end or with Ilion BankFeeds.
Your login credentials for the bank have been changed.
The bank connection has expired and requires reconnection.
An update or other change either with the bank feeds provider, or the bank itself.
Typically, most issues will be resolved by ensuring you have the correct password and resetting your bank feeds connection.
