Activate Store Items

This document provides a step-by-step guide on how to activate store items for your online store using the HirePOS system. By following these instructions, you will be able to select and display items effectively in your online store.

Steps to Activate Store Items

To activate store items for your online store, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Preferences > Online Store.

  2. Click the Setup Store Items button located at the top of the Layout tab.

  3. Select the items you wish to display in the Online Store by using the check boxes provided.

  4. Click the Activate Store Items button at the bottom of the list.

This process will copy the Item Code to the Website Code and the Item Description to the Website Description field. Please note that items will not be displayed unless they have a category assigned to them. For assistance with assigning categories to items, refer to the Item Categories help guide.

Setting Featured Items

To set an item as a featured item on your online store's home page, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the item you wish to edit.

  2. In the item details screen, check the Featured Item checkbox located at the bottom.

  3. Click Save Changes to apply your modifications.

Viewing Your Online Store

To view your online store, click the Options button dropdown at the top-right corner of the screen, then select View Store.
