New Meter (Replace Faulty)
For equipment maintenance, the Next Service (Meter Reading) is triggered based on the latest meter reading, however, in the case where a meter is replaced and reset back to zero, this needs to be flagged in a new Maintenance Record for the item.
In a New Completed Maintenance record, select the Item being serviced.
Enter the Start and Finish dates as the time the equipment will be stood down for service.
Enter a Service Reason, e.g. Replaced faulty meter.
From the Options menu at the top-right, choose the option for "New Meter (Replace Faulty)".
The Meter Reading value will set to 0 and a checked New Meter checkbox will now be visible.Set the Next Service Due > Meter Reading to the new desired reading.
Complete any other information as needed, then click the Save Changes button.
Meter Readings recorded prior to the service date will now be ignored when the system calculates the next service based on the last meter readings.
