Items/Prices

The Items/Prices page provides quick access to item details, selling units and pricing without needing to open the Setup menu.

Use the Items/Prices page to:

• Search for items.

• Filter items by category.

• View item details.

• Review selling units and prices.

• Add items to the cart.

You can open the Items/Prices page from either:

• The Home screen.

• The Reminders screen, by selecting the Items/Prices button to the left of the reminders list.

To find a specific item:

1. Open the Items/Prices page.

2. Enter the item name, code or other identifying information in the Find search box.

3. Review the matching items displayed in the list.

To display items from a particular category, select the required Category from the category filter.

The item list updates to show items assigned to the selected category.

Select the eye icon beside an item to view more detailed information about that item.

Select the Add to Cart icon beside an item to add it to the cart for processing.

For applicable items, HirePOS performs a double-booking check when the item is added to the cart. If a possible overbooking is detected, the Possible Overbooking popup displays an availability drilldown so you can review the item's availability.

You can then choose to add the item anyway or cancel without adding it.

The columns to the right of each item show the Selling Units configured for that item.

Selling units determine the different ways an item can be sold or hired and the prices available for each unit. Reviewing these columns provides a quick overview of the item's available selling units and pricing.

The Items/Prices page is used to quickly search and review item information, selling units and prices without opening the item setup screen.

It also provides shortcuts for viewing item details and adding items directly to the cart.
