Allow Camera Access/Permissions

The HirePOS Mobile app requires camera access for taking photos (and other features). Follow these steps to enable camera permissions on your device.

When taking photos with HirePOS on a mobile device, Safari is recommended for iOS devices, and Chrome is recommended for Android devises. On a desktop, any web browser should work fine.

For Android Devices

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Tap the three dots menu in the upper-right corner and select Settings.

  3. Scroll down and tap Site settings.

  4. Tap Camera.

  5. Find https://mobile.hirepos.com in the list and tap it.

  6. Set the camera permission to Allow.

For iOS Devices

Safari

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Scroll down and tap Safari.

  3. Tap Camera under the “Settings for Websites” section.

  4. Find https://mobile.hirepos.com and set the camera access to Allow.

Important: If you’re using Chrome on iOS, please note that Chrome and other third-party browsers cannot access the camera for web apps. To use the camera in HirePOS Mobile, you must use Safari.
