Incorporating QR Codes in HirePOS
While HirePOS does not natively use QR codes for anytning out of the box, you can incorporate them with some setup and/or custom development. Here are several ways you can utilize QR codes in your HirePOS application:
Custom Reports / Templates: QR codes can be added to custom reports or templates. Note that this option requires custom development work, which may incur additional one-off charges. some examples include:
Tax Invoices and Delivery Dockets: You can print QR codes on your tax invoices or delivery dockets. Customers can scan these codes to access your terms and conditions or navigate directly to your website.
Line Items on Invoices or Dockets: QR codes can be printed next to individual line items on your invoices or dockets, linking to item-specific URLs that you set up in Setup > Items.
Labels and Dockets: Instead of traditional barcodes, you can incorporate QR codes on your labels and dockets for product scanning using the item code or barcode data set up in Setup > Items.
Marketing Communications: QR codes can be generated from URLs in your HirePOS online store. You can print these codes on marketing materials, allowing potential customers to scan and be directed to your online store.
By implementing these strategies, you can enhance customer engagement and streamline processes within HirePOS.
