Most activities within the system automatically generate reminders on the main page for upcoming bookings, overdue returns, expenses, maintenance, etc. General Reminders offer the flexibility to manually set reminders for various activities, such as calling a customer on a specific day.

You can add, view, edit and delete all reminders in your system via CRM > Reminders.

Adding General Reminders

To add a general reminder, you have two options:

  1. Click the + New Reminder link at the top right of the main page.

  2. Go to CRM > General Reminders from the main menu strip, open the General Reminders List, and click the + New Reminder button.

The reminder will be saved in 'Pending' mode by default and will appear on the reminders list on the main page. Once the task is completed, you can turn on the 'Completed' toggle. General reminders can be linked to Customers, Contacts, Invoices, and included in the Delivery/Pickup Schedule.

Add via Sales/Hire (Customer Overview)

Creating a CRM reminder from the Customer Overview screen automatically links the reminder to the customer:

  1. From the Sales/Hire > Customer Overview screen, navigate to the CRM tab.

  2. Click the Reminder button to create a new General Reminder record.

  3. Select a Reminder Date and enter a Reminder Note.

  4. Save the new reminder, and it will appear in the CRM tab of the Customer Overview screen.

Add via Invoice Screen

Creating a CRM reminder from the Sales Record (Invoice) screen automatically links the reminder to the customer and the sales record:

  1. From the Invoice screen, go to the CRM tab.

  2. Click the Reminder button to create a new General Reminder record.

  3. Select a Reminder Date and enter a Reminder Note.

  4. Save the new reminder, and it will appear in the CRM tab of the Invoice screen.

Delivery/Pickup Reminders

When setting a new reminder, you have the option to display it on the Delivery/Pickup Schedule for your drivers to act on:

  • When adding reminders to the delivery/pickup schedule, you can add additional details like address, contact, and deliver via (driver/supplier).

  • If you create the reminder from the Sales Record (Invoice) screen and specify delivery/pickup addresses, they will automatically populate the reminder.
