Sales/Hire > Find Sales/Hire

Edited

The Find Sales/Hire screens provide flexible tools for finding and reviewing sales and hire records in HirePOS. Use date ranges, record types and filters to narrow the results to the information you need.

Find Sales/Hire Screens

There are three search screens:

  • Find Sales/Hire – Search sales and hire records using customer, job and other record details.

  • Find Sales/Hire by Location – Search records by delivery/customer location and related details.

  • Find Sales/Hire by Item – Search records using item details such as Item Type, Item Category, Group Code, Serial Number and Serial Tracking.

Choose the screen that best matches the information you have available.

Search by Date

Use Date Filter with Date From and Date To to search within a date range. Available date filters include:

  • Invoice Date

  • Date From

  • Date To

  • Event Date

  • Date Quoted

  • Date Booked

You can also use the Period selector for common ranges such as Today, This Week, This Month, financial quarters, financial years or All time.

Record Types and Status

Use the filters above the results to quickly narrow records by:

  • Mode – Estimates, Quotes, Reservations, Bookings, Invoices, Contracts, Sales Orders, Credit Notes or On Hold.

  • Hire – Pending Hire, On Hire, Off Hired, Rolled, Continued or Returned.

  • Sales – Sales Invoices or Sales Orders.

  • Cancelled – All, Cancelled or Active.

  • Outstanding – All, Outstanding or Paid.

Additional filters are available from the Filters button and vary depending on the Find Sales/Hire screen being used.

Additional Filters

Filters can include Branch, Customer Category, Customer, Staff, Invoice Category and Draft/Approved status. The By Location and By Item screens provide additional filters specific to those searches.

LTH Number

On the Find Sales/Hire screen, LTH # means Long Term Hire number. This number is unique to a rollover series of invoices and can be used to find records belonging to the same rollover chain.
