User Timeline
This document provides detailed instructions on how to view the history of users' actions on sales records within the hirepos system.
Invoice History
To access the invoice history, follow these steps:
Open any invoice in the system.
Click on the Show History button located at the bottom left of the invoice.
The invoice history will display important details such as when the invoice was created, modified, sent, signed, and more, along with the user responsible for each action. You can click on any highlighted blue entry to view a basic snapshot of the invoice before the changes were made.
User Timeline
To access the user timeline, navigate to Setup > Preferences > Users and click on the Timeline clock icon located on the far right of the users list.
Recent Logins and User History
To access recent logins and user history, follow these steps:
Go to Setup > Preferences > Users User History.
Next to each user, you will find a Timeline icon. Click on this icon to view all previous actions taken by the user on sales records.
This feature is particularly useful for identifying mistakes, reviewing record changes, and determining which user made specific modifications. Additionally, you can use this functionality to view deleted records and the content of sales records before deletion.
Viewing History on a Per-Invoice Basis
When you have a sales record open, simply click the Show History button at the bottom left of the screen to view the history specific to that invoice.
Recent Logins
For enhanced security, admin users have the ability to monitor recent login activity within the hirepos system. This includes viewing the IP address of login attempts and identifying any failed logins.
To access recent logins, click on the Recent Logins tab located above the list of users.
