In HirePOS, it is essential to track whether your customers have received the invoices you send via email. This feature ensures that you have visibility on the delivery and receipt of important documents. Follow the steps below to set up tracking for your Emailed invoices:

Setting Up Email Templates and Settings

To enable tracking for Emailed invoices, navigate to Setup > Preferences > Email Templates & Settings in your HirePOS account.

Inserting Placeholder for View Button

Within the Email Templates & Settings section, click on Insert placeholder and choose View button. The {ViewButton} placeholder will automatically transform into a View Invoice or View Booking button when the email is sent.

Utilizing the View Button

When using a template with the {ViewButton} placeholder, PDF attachments will no longer be included automatically. Instead, the recipient will need to click on the View button within the email. This action notifies HirePOS that the invoice has been viewed, and this information will be reflected in the Sales and Find Sales screens.

Enhanced Functionality of the View Button

Did you know that with proper configuration, the View Button can offer additional functionalities? It can be utilized to capture electronic signatures and even facilitate payments through services like Pin Payments.
