Edited

Hyperlinks can be a valuable addition to email templates, allowing you to direct recipients to specific web pages such as terms and conditions, general information, or feedback forms. Follow the steps below to insert hyperlinks into your email templates:

Accessing Email Templates & Settings

To begin, navigate to Setup > Preferences > Email Templates & Settings.

Choosing the Email Template

If you intend to insert the hyperlink into an email template other than the primary one, select the Other Email Templates button located at the bottom and choose the desired template.

Open the Advanced Editor

Within the body section of the Email Editor, click the [tT] button in the header section to launch the Advanced Editor.

Inserting the Hyperlink

In the Advanced Editor, click on the Insert tab to open its drop-down menu. Then, select Link to open the Insert/Edit Link popup.

Setting the Link Details

In the URL field, paste or type the website address you want the hyperlink to direct to. In the Text to Display field, enter a brief description or copy the URL.

Optionally, you can provide a title for the link in the Title field.

You can also choose whether the link should open in the current window or in a new window by selecting the appropriate option in the Open Link in... field.

Finalising the Hyperlink

Once you have configured the hyperlink settings, click on the Save button to save your changes.

By following these steps, you can effectively insert hyperlinks into your email templates to enhance communication with your recipients.
