This document provides a step-by-step guide on how to set up and customize email templates for sending statements in your Hirepos account.

Setting Up Email Templates for Statements

When emailing statements, you can use a specific email template called Statement. Follow the steps below to set up this template:

  1. From the main menu strip at the top, navigate to Setup > Preferences > Email Templates/Settings.

  2. Click the Other Email Templates button located towards the bottom of the page.

  3. If you already have a template named Statement in the list, click on it to edit. If not, click the New Email Template button.

  4. For a new template, select Statement from the Standard Template Names dropdown menu located to the right of the Template Name field.

  5. Enter a BCC email address to send a copy for archiving purposes.

  6. Provide the relevant Subject and Message, utilizing placeholders for automatic information retrieval.

  7. Scroll down and click Save Changes once you have completed the template setup.

By following these steps, the Statement template will be used when emailing statements from your Hirepos account.

Note: It is important to remember that the placeholders {ViewButton} and {InvoiceLink} cannot be used in a Statement template as they are designed for single sales records only.
