In Hirepos, you have the flexibility to customize the terminology of checkboxes and set up preset referral sources to streamline your sales process. This guide will walk you through the steps to personalize the checkbox terminology and create a preset referral source list.

Customize Checkbox Terminology

To customize the terminology of checkboxes in Hirepos, follow these steps:

  1. From the main menu strip at the top, navigate to Setup > Preferences.

  2. In the Preferences menu page, click on the Checklist & Referral Sources link.

  3. Enter your preferred terminology in the Invoice Checkbox Terminology field, such as Signed, Incomplete, Sent.

By customizing the checkbox terminology, you can easily indicate the status of sales records with clarity and precision.

Create a Preset Referral Source List

Setting up a preset referral source list in Hirepos can significantly enhance the efficiency of your sales process. Here's how you can create a preset referral source list:

  1. From the main menu strip at the top, go to Setup > Preferences > Checklist & Referral Sources.

  2. Check the Show referral source prompt checkbox.

  3. Under the Referral Sources sub-heading, enter up to 6 of the most common referral sources.

  4. Click Save Changes.

Once you have set up the preset referral source list, when adding a new customer via the Sales/Hire > Customer Overview screen, you will be prompted to choose a referral source from the preset list. This feature allows your staff to quickly select from common referral sources, speeding up the sales process.

Remember, you can also manually enter a referral source or choose from a previously entered source via the dropdown if needed.
