Business Details (Overview)
This document provides a comprehensive guide on how to customise your business details in HirePOS to enhance your branding and improve the appearance of your documents. These details will appear on your quotes, tax invoices, hire agreements, and other customer-facing documents — so it's important they are accurate and up to date.
Set Your Business Logo
To add a logo to your preview/PDF templates for quotes, bookings, and invoices, follow these steps:
Go to Setup > Business Details from the main menu strip.
Click the Import Logo button to upload your company logo file.
Preview your logo and click Save Changes at the bottom-right of the page to apply it.
Check the appearance of your logo by opening an existing sales record and clicking Preview.
Multiple Logos
If you need multiple logos for different branding purposes, customise your Tax Invoice template by referring to the Report Templates & Settings guide or the Customer Report Request section.
Set Your Time Zone
Configure the Time Zone setting in Business Details to align your business times with your geographical location for accurate time values. For example, select (UTC+10:00) for the Canberra, Melbourne, and Sydney area. Save Changes to apply the Time Zone setting.
Display Your Bank Details
Include bank details on your documentation to facilitate payments:
Navigate to Setup > Business Details to enter your Bank Name, Account Name, BSB Number, and Account Number.
A "Reference" matching the Sales Record Number will be visible on your document.
Branches Module
If using the branches module with separate bank accounts for each branch:
Access Setup > Branches to edit or create a branch.
Enter banking details in the Bank Details section for each branch.
You may need your Tax Invoice template customised for these details to become affective.
