Item Images
In HirePOS, you can enhance your items by adding images to display in the app, on invoices, dockets, purchase orders, and the online store. This guide will walk you through the process of adding and displaying images for your items.
Add Images to Items
To add images to items for use on quotes and other sales records, follow these steps:
From the main menu strip at the top, navigate to Setup > Items.
Click on the item you want to edit.
Go to the Images tab, which is the last tab on the right.
The main image placeholder will be displayed. You can drag and drop an image into the Drag image here placeholder or click the Import Image button to browse for the file on your computer.
If needed, images can be rotated by clicking the Rotate button.
You can add up to 5 extra images by clicking the Other Images button below the main image.
Click Save Changes to save your modifications.
Display Images in Items Setup List
To display images in the items setup list, follow these steps:
From the main menu strip at the top, go to Setup > Items.
Click the Filters button at the top right to show the filter options.
Check the Show Images checkbox option.
Click the Filters button again to hide the filters.
The main item image will now be displayed in the first column on the far left.
Display Images when Adding to Sales Record
When adding items to a sales record, follow these steps to display images:
The items list dropdown in the Code column of the sales record screen includes a Show Images link. Click this link to view the item images in the dropdown list.
This setting will be remembered for your next search, and you can click the Hide Images link to revert back.
Show Images on Quote PDF Preview
To view item images on a quote PDF preview, follow these steps:
From the Sales Record screen where you create and edit quotes, click the Preview button at the bottom to preview the quote.
Click the Templates dropdown button in the toolbar at the top right.
Select the Quote (Images) option.
The relevant item images will appear on the quote.
