In this document, we will explore the Customer Overview screen and various functionalities related to sales management in the system.

Customer Overview Screen

The Customer Overview screen can be accessed through the main menu strip at the top under Sales/Hire > Customer Overview. This screen offers a comprehensive view of the customer, including details like credit limit, current balance, recent invoices, and payments. It serves as a valuable resource to review customer information before initiating a sale.

Creating a Quote/Booking/Invoice

New sales records are initiated from the Customer Overview screen. To create a new record, click on the options for New Quote, New Booking, or New Invoice. Additionally, you can access other record types like Credit Notes and Reservations by selecting them from the dropdown menu next to New Invoice.

Sales Tab

The Sales tab displays all previous sales records of the customer, organised by Invoice/Quote/Booking date. This tab is essential for reviewing a customer's purchase history.

Payments Tab

In the Payments tab, you can view all recent payments made by the customer. Clicking on a payment record allows you to make any necessary edits.

Contacts Tab

The Contacts tab contains a list of all contacts associated with the customer. You can edit existing contacts or create new ones directly from this tab.

CRM Tab

Within the CRM tab, you can add conversational notes and reminders for the customer. This feature enables you to send general emails and SMS messages. For notes specific to a particular quote, booking, or invoice, it is recommended to use the CRM tab within the respective sales record screen. Any CRM records added to sales records will also be visible in the Customers CRM tab.

Reports Tab

The Reports tab provides access to Custom Statements, Receipts, Currently On Hire, Return Slips, and Price Lists tailored to the customer's profile. This feature enhances the ability to generate specific reports for individual customers.

Credit Card Button

If Pin Payments are utilized, the Credit Card button allows you to securely save a customer's card details directly to your Pin Payments account. It is important to remember to click the Destroy button to remove saved credit card details when they are no longer required.
