This document provides a comprehensive guide on how to access and utilize the reporting features available in HirePOS. With over 300 reports covering various aspects of your business, understanding how to navigate and use these reports is essential for effective data management.

Accessing Reports

For users with the appropriate permissions, the reports menu is conveniently located in the main menu bar. It is located towards the right side of the main menu, just before the global search icon.

Overview of Available Reports

HirePOS offers a wide range of over 300 reports that span various areas, including:

  • Sales and Revenue

  • Accounting and Expenses

  • Bookings and Hire

  • Deliveries and Pickups

  • Stock Control

  • Cross Hire

  • And more.

Report Filters

Most reports in HirePOS come equipped with filters that allow you to customize the data you wish to view. These filters may include:

  • Date filters

  • Item category filters

  • And additional options.

To maximize the reports' benefits, it is advisable to include as much relevant information as possible when generating them.

Marking Reports as Favorites

We recommend exploring the available reports to familiarize yourself with the options. You can mark reports as favourites by clicking the star icon. This action will categorize them under "Favorites," making it convenient for you to access them quickly during subsequent visits.

Exporting Reports

The toolbar located at the top of the report viewer screen includes buttons for exporting reports to various formats, including:

  • CSV

  • Excel

  • Word

  • PDF

Report Templates & Customization

If you are unable to locate a report that meets your specific requirements, you have the option to request a custom report tailored specifically for your business. Please note that this may incur a one-time fee, but it will provide you with a report that you can run on demand, delivering exactly the data you need.
