Customer Specific Email Templates
In business, personalised communication is key to building strong relationships with customers. Email templates are a great way to streamline your communication process, but sometimes you may need to create custom templates for specific customers. This guide will walk you through the steps of creating and assigning custom email templates for individual customers.
Create the Custom Template
To create a custom email template for a specific customer, follow these steps:
Go to Setup > Preferences > Email Templates & Settings.
Click the Other Templates button located towards the bottom of the screen.
Click the + New Email Template button.
Set up a custom template tailored to the specific needs of your customer.
Click the Save New button to save the template.
Assign the Template to Customers
Once you have created the custom email template, you can assign it to individual customers by following these steps:
From the main menu strip at the top, navigate to Setup > Customers.
Select the Customer you want to assign the template to.
Click on the Account / Payment Terms sub-heading to reveal this section.
Choose the custom template from the Invoice Email Template dropdown menu.
Click the Save Changes button to apply the template to the selected customer.
By creating custom email templates for individual customers, you can provide a more personalized and tailored experience, enhancing your customer relationships and communication efficiency.
