Zapier Create Lead

Edited

The Create Lead action in Zapier allows you to automatically create a new lead record in HirePOS using information from another application.

For example, you can use this action to create a HirePOS lead when a new enquiry, form submission, or potential customer is received through another app connected to Zapier.

How It Works

When the Create Lead action runs, the lead information mapped in your Zap is sent to the HirePOS Leads API endpoint in JSON format. HirePOS then creates a new lead record using the information provided.

Available Fields

The following lead fields can be populated when configuring the action:

  • Company – Company or business name associated with the lead.

  • First Name – Lead's first name.

  • Last Name – Lead's last name.

  • Address Line 1 – Primary street address.

  • Address Line 2 – Additional address information, if required.

  • City – Lead's city or suburb.

  • State – Lead's state, province, or region.

  • Postcode – Lead's postcode or ZIP code.

  • Phone 1 – Primary contact phone number.

  • Phone 2 – Secondary contact phone number.

  • Phone 3 – Additional contact phone number.

  • Fax – Lead's fax number.

  • Email – Lead's email address.

  • Notes – Additional information or notes about the lead.

Example Uses

You can use the Create Lead action to automate workflows such as:

  • Creating a HirePOS lead from a website enquiry or form submission.

  • Creating a HirePOS lead when a potential customer is added to another application.

  • Transferring lead details from a CRM or other business application into HirePOS.

When configuring your Zap, map the information from the previous Zapier step to the corresponding HirePOS lead fields. When the Zap runs successfully, a new lead record will be created in HirePOS.
