Reporting a Bug

Edited

If you encounter a bug or error in HirePOS, you can submit a bug report directly from the Get Support or Contact Us menu. This allows you to provide details of the issue for the HirePOS team to investigate.

Note: For urgent enquiries, use the Web Chat option available through the HirePOS Help Centre. For general support, review the available self-help options or use the Web chat if further assistance is needed.

Accessing the Bug Report Form

To report an issue:

  1. Click the (?) Help menu.

  2. Select Get Support or Contact Us.

  3. Select Something isn't working (bug/error).

  4. Confirm that the issue is a bug, then click the I've checked the help guides and/or used web chat, and I still need help toggle.

  5. Enter details about the issue in the Issue Details field.

  6. Check that your Contact Name and Contact Number are correct. Your account email address is automatically displayed in the Contact Email field.

  7. Click Submit.

  8. Review the confirmation prompt and click Yes to submit the bug report.

When describing the issue, include as much relevant information as possible, such as the steps that led to the problem and any error messages you encountered. This can help the HirePOS team investigate the issue.

Previously Submitted Requests

The Previously Submitted section displays your recent support requests, including the request number, submission date, and request details.

For longer requests, only a preview of the request is initially displayed. Click the + icon beside the request to expand it and view the full text. Click the icon to collapse the request again.

If you have more than six previous requests, click View More... to display the remaining requests.

Archiving a Request

Previous requests that you no longer need to see can be archived:

  1. Click the Archive icon beside the request.

  2. At the Archive Request? prompt, click Yes, Archive to confirm.

  3. The archived request will be removed from the Previously Submitted list.

Archiving only applies to the selected request associated with your account.
