Selling Units – Sort Order and Prioritisation

When managing Selling Units, you can reorder the list to improve organisation and control which unit is used by default in item rates and prices.

The default selling unit applied to an item’s rates/prices is the first selling unit listed.

1. Open the relevant item via Setup > Items Related > Selling Units

2. Scroll to the bottom of the Selling Units list

3. Click Sort Units

4. On the sorting page, click and drag the desired selling unit to the top of the list

5. Save your changes

Once saved, the selling unit at the top of the list will become the default unit used for the item’s rates/prices.
