Pin Payments (Receive Payment via Email)

A View Invoice button can be added to email templates, which allows customers to view a sales record and pay by card via the link.hirepos.com website. Both the Sales > Sales, and the Sales > Find Sales screens will display the status in the Sent column based on whether the Booking/Invoice is Sent, Viewed, or Paid.

Add View Button to email template

  1. From the main menu strip at the top, go to Setup > Preferences > Email Templates & Settings.
  2. You can use this primary email template (which is normally used for Invoices in general), or otherwise click the Other Email Templates button towards the bottom to set up another email template.

  3. Click the Insert Placeholder dropdown to the right of the Email Message section.
  4. From the Insert Placeholder dropdown, select the {ViewButton} placeholder.
  5. Ensure the template details are all populated as required.
  6. Click the Save Settings button.
Payment Limit
There is a $6000 limit on card payments

Display 'Pay Now' button for Invoice mode only

Given the nature of hire and rental, bookings may change in value with changes and adjustments requested by your customers. Your processes may require that payments only be made once a job is finalised as an Invoice. Admin users can change this global setting for the Pay Now button via the following steps.

  1. From the main menu strip at the top, go to Setup > Preferences > Email Templates & Settings.
  2. Click the Placeholder Settings button located towards the bottom.
  3. In the {ViewButton} Placeholder Settings section, check the Display 'Pay Now' button for Invoice mode only checkbox.
  4. Click the Save Changes button.

The Pay Now button on the link.hirepos.com site will now only appear for Invoices.
