Email Setup in HirePOS

There are multiple ways to send emails out of HirePOS, we will cover the pros and cons of each, and what is required to set them up below.

We highly recommend using the email to send out in conjunction with a specified Reply-to and Display name.

This means the Spam risk is dramatically reduced, and requires minimal setup and required technical knowledge.

To Set this up, see below:

  1. Go to Setup > Preferences > Email Templates & Settings
  2. Click on the Edit button next to the From Address.
  3. Make sure you select the HirePOS option, then click Save changes.
  4. Add a Display name this will be the name your recipients see instead of the Hirepos email.
  5. Click the Reply To+ Button next to the From address.
  6. Add in the email address you wish to receive replies to.
  7. Click Save changes, then you are done!
Did you know, you can use the {ViewButton} placeholder to check if a customer has viewed your invoice or not?
You can specify a different Reply-to for your Other email templates, which will then be used instead of the default one you set here.
